Crazy Characters

This Venice is populated by countless bizarre inhabitants. Every encounter is different, every dialogue holds surprises. Some will help you, others will try to manipulate you or have even worse intentions... Always by your side is Thea, a quirky but super-smart AI.

Puzzling Puzzles

The puzzles in Venice After Dark rely not on speed, but on attention, interpretation, and perception. Many challenges arise from what you see—or overlook. Talk to the countless quirky Venetians to get clues, or search the detailed backgrounds for important items or secret passages.

Wicked World

This Venice is different. It is a smorgasbord of crazy places, alleys, and secrets. The city will change over the course of the story. Due to sometimes drastic weather changes and different times of day, even familiar places offer new surprises and unique atmospheres time and again.

Who the game is about

Meet Aiko, a Japanese IT engineer seeking escape from her exhausting routine. She travels to Venice, the city of romance and secrets, accompanied by Thea - an eccentric AI companion she built and considers her closest friend. Together, they find out what it means to be human.

What the game is about

What begins as a peaceful retreat quickly spirals into a psychological thriller. Aiko discovers a disturbing mystery tied to the former owner of her hotel and a long-abandoned mill. As her investigation deepens, she’s plagued by vivid nightmares and audiovisual illusion tests. Can she trust her senses - or is something far more sinister at play?

What the game offers

Explore beautifully hand-animated scenes, meet fully voiced characters, and enjoy a complete soundtrack as you uncover a fact-inspired story featuring real locations, historical figures, and events in Venice. Your decisions lead to one of three distinct endings, while dynamic weather brings the city to life - from sunny days and beautiful evenings to dark nights and powerful storms. Solve humorous dialogue puzzles and interact with countless richly developed NPCs.
